Intro

Hi! I’m Ross. I’m happy to be here, in a world where faces, introductions, and ideals are all shared through prose. I’m a guy with a sharp memory, a lion-like sense of compassion for people, and a dozen stories I’ll tell time and time again, getting a little bit better the older I get. When I’m not doing triathlon training or taking grad school courses, you’ll catch me goofing off every once in a while. I joke when I can, obsess over horror video games (Silent Hill, here here!), and try to find as many good remixes of Lady (Hear Me Tonight) as I can. Also, I write best to Hammock. Listening to their music is stepping into a gentle nirvana, and makes for plenty of transpersonal feelings.

What do I hope to get out of blogging 101? My number one goal is earning a stronger blogging skill set, which I hope will then translate to garnering more followers who share my passion for YA novels and medical dramas. Growing up, I devoured Robert Cormier’s books and dabbled in Michael Crichton and Tess Gerritsen. I wrote my first short story in the fifth grade. Still, I’m learning how to walk on shaky legs when it comes to blogging. WordPress’ interface still freaks me out sometimes.

Nostalgia. Triathlon. Counseling. Young adult stories. All of these ideas and values make me up, and I hope I can be as constructive with your passions and writing dreams. Let’s blog!

Hello Chelsea, it’s nice to get acquainted with you too! I’m currently halfway through my master’s degree in counseling (M.S.), and I can’t wait to earn my LPC and LMFT. Sounds like we will have much to share about our graduate school experiences!
