50,040 words. I reached 50,040 words! Success, amazement, excitement, wonderment. The list could go on. But I’m here at this new mile marker, having succeeded in completing National Novel Writing Month for the first time ever on this day. In some ways, this is as powerful of an achievement as I imagine graduating with my master’s degree will be!
